JO ANN ROBERTS of North Little Rock entered her heavenly home on January 31, 2024. Jo was born on February 3, 1941 to Huie Smith and Mary Compton Smith Holland. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Swint, sister, Nancy Daily, nieces, Paige Beck and husband, Brian, and Ashli Jackson and husband, Jason.
Jo was a faithful member of Park Hill Baptist Church for forty years. She treasured her friendships in Jim Dockins’ Sunday School Class. Jo retired from UAMS in 2007. She was an expert seamstress who shared her talent for sewing with devoted customers. Forever an avid cat lover, Jo shared her life with “Princess” and numerous other felines.
A celebration of Jo’s birthday and her life will be held at a memorial service Saturday, February 3rd at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills, North Little Rock at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to Park Hill Baptist Church, North Little Rock, 201 East C Ave. North Little Rock, AR 72116
