Lola spent much of her career working in a print shop, where she specialized in producing checks. She was known for her love of puzzles and reading, hobbies that reflected her quiet strength and thoughtful nature.
She was married for 34 years to her beloved husband, Howard “Sonny” Holderfield, who preceded her in death. Lola was also preceded in death by her children Robby, Terry, and Tracy Holderfield Garner; her sister-in-law Evelyn (wife of Richard); her siblings Joyce Henderson, Brenda Mannon, and Ervin Mize.
Lola is survived by her brothers, Richard Mize of Ward and Kenneth Mize (Brenda) of Vilonia. She was a proud grandmother to Clayton Holderfield, Eric, Ryan, and many other cherished relatives.
Lola’s kind heart, quiet resilience, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR, 72117. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday September 4, 2025, with a Celebration of Life at 10:30 AM with Bro. Brian Combee officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 AM at Rest Hills Memorial Park for those that would like to attend.
