Margaret Myers

Margaret Ann (Neal) Myers entered Eternal Life on March 10, 2016 and was reunited with her husband, mother, sister and other relatives. Margaret was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on April 9, 1924, to Guffie Morgan and Villa Alice Neal. She graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1944 and worked at the Ordnance Plant in Jacksonville, Arkansas and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She married J. C. Myers on January 15, 1944, and shortly after began her life as a preacher’s wife. J. C. and Margaret had been married 67 years upon his death in 2011. Margaret was a very talented and resourceful woman. She was an accomplished seamstress, cook and home decorator for her family. She loved the Lord and showed that sweet love to her family and others. She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Loy Rynders and her husband, J. C. Myers. Margaret is the beloved mother of two children, Bob Myers (Linda) of Sherwood and Judy Logan of North Little Rock. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Samantha Lesher (Chris) and Bobby Myers, Jr. (Lauren) both of Sherwood; Jennifer Powell of North Little Rock and Cristin Hinson (Steve) of Benton; seven great grandchildren: Lydia Logan, Leigh Ann Powell, Ryleigh Reed, Bobby Myers III, Kel Myers, Jackson Lesher and Zyler Hinson. Thanks to Arkansas Hospice and Premier Health and Rehab, especially Sheree, Melinda and Doris for their wonderful care of Margaret. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 pm on Sunday, March 13 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church or Arkansas Hospice. Isaiah 40:31
