

Pat Ann Whitfield, 86, of North Little Rock, AR passed away August 9, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 11, 1938, in North Little Rock to James Birdsong and Mary Louise Dyer Birdsong.
Pat was a devoted member of Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where she served faithfully for many years. She was an active youth leader and a dedicated volunteer, preparing chili every Friday for the church’s soup kitchen. Her generosity and commitment to service touched countless lives.
With an adventurous spirit, Pat enjoyed traveling and spent two years living in Guam while her husband was enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Her journeys took her to the Philippines, Taiwan, and even the Great Wall of China. She also had a passion for cultural exchange, hosting more than 60 international exchange students and helping many find welcoming host families.
She is survived by her three sons, Billy Whitfield and Johnny Whitfield, both of North Little Rock, AR, and Henrique (Monica) Silva of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; her daughter, Ann (Sean) Partridge of Muldrow, OK; and two goddaughters, Heather Antil of Mechanicsville, VA, and Colleen (Peter) Jorgenson of Katy, TX.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 116 S. Pine Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM, also at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene, with Bro. Paul Holderfield officiating. Burial will follow at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville, AR
