Sarah Sanders Mosley, born January 25, 1945, left this earth on June 5, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Sarah was married to Bobby Joe Mosley, who passed in October 2024. She and Bob are now together forever in Heaven. They both earned their place in Heaven with the immense love, laughter, caring, and generosity they both displayed throughout their lives. There is no measure to the love they gave their family, friends, and others.
Sarah is survived by her children, Michele Beasley (Michael) and Michael Mosley (Lamarie Rutelonis); grandchildren, Caroline Mosley, Presley Beasley, Eli Beasley, Ethan Beasley, and Connor Rutelonis; sister, Sue Johnson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Sanders; brother-in-law, Elbert Mosley; and a host of special nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Helen Davis and Carl Sanders; brother, Carl Sanders; brother-in-law, Woody Johnson; sister-in-law, Gwenneth Green; brother-in-law, Bryant Green; sister-in-law, Pat Mosley; nieces, Renee Smith, Karen Carr, and Jinanne Sundstrom; and nephew, Dick Jeffery.
Sarah graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1962. She married Bob Mosley in 1968, after the two met in Atlanta. In 1973, they settled in Sherwood, Ark., and she began working for Telcoe Federal Credit Union where she continued to work until May 15, 2025. She was promoted to president and chief executive officer in 1978. She had a servant’s heart and made each day about helping others. Countless members and employees have said Sarah was like a ‘second mother.’ Her heart was touched by their many stories that she could recount more than 50 years later. She was a leader in the credit union movement, not only in Arkansas but nationwide. Telcoe Federal Credit Union is known as one of the safest and soundest financial institutions in the nation. She has received numerous awards and accolades for her work and service to charitable organizations.
She loved being a Nana most of all—always arranging an adventure or a trip for ice cream. She had a great sense of humor and an unmatched work ethic. ‘If you wake and tell yourself you feel good, you will.’ She always searched for the positive in every situation. She will be greatly missed and thought of often.
A special thank you to Sharon for the care and compassion shown to both Mom and Dad.
