Sharon Catharine Bokamper, 73, of North Little Rock went to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Monday, September 27, 2021. Sharon was born on September 22, 1948 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents Q. D. Lamb and Virginia Dora Lamb.
Sharon taught students at Jacksonville High School and North Pulaski High School for 38 years, she was loved by her students and loved them in return. She was a faithful member of Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church. Sharon lived her faith, spending hours praying, reading and studying her Bible. Sharon took great joy in sharing her faith with others and also loved to work at local food pantries. She was a gifted painter and had a special gift for creating crafts. Sharon also had a talent for playing memorable pranks and tricks on her family and friends.
Sharon married the love of her life, Daniel Bokamper, on April 7, 1972 and later welcomed son, Brock and daughter Natalie to their family. Sharon loved her family more than anything else in life and had so many happy memories of times spent together, particularly the many special trips taken together. Her last trip with Daniel was to Prague in 2019.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Q.D. and Virginia Lamb. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 48 years, Daniel W. Bokamper; son, Brock W. Bokamper; daughter-in-law, Brandy Bokamper; daughter, Natalie C. Spoon; son-in-law, Robert Brooks Spoon; grandson, Riven Brooks Spoon; brother, Neil Lamb and wife, Michelle and brother-in-law, Jerry Bokamper and wife, Patricia, Sharon will also be remembered and missed by a multitude of friends and students who were impacted by her presence in their lives.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 2nd at the Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., NLR. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, October 1st also at the funeral home.
