

Shirley was a dedicated and loyal wife to her late husband, Curtis Summers, who preceded her in death in 2004. She is survived by her two sons, David and Craig Summers, and her brother, Jim Murray. Shirley’s warmth, joy, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A member of Life Line Baptist Church since 1976, Shirley’s faith was at the center of her life. Her joyful spirit and caring nature were evident in everything she did, whether it was in her 40-year career at Southwestern Bell or in the countless hours spent with loved ones. Shirley retired from Southwestern Bell after a long and successful career.
Her passions included spending time with her family and friends, often over a shared meal or while traveling to new destinations. She was a loyal and caring friend, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. Shirley's legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. A committal will occur Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
