Such a sweet soul.  Whenever she came over to spend the night she always had a bag or two of Tikis Chips.  She was a delight to be around and I always hated to see her leave.  She will be missed terribly.  Angelina, my daughter showed me a video of her and Carson where they were in a "challenge" to see who would laugh first and of course Sydney busted out laughing with a mouth full of water that was spit all over Carson's face, it was hilarious.  I had never seen the video until a couple of days ago.   She will forever be in our hearts.  We pray that God heals your pain and fills you with memories of the great times you shared and gives you comfort in knowing she is laughing and living in the Kingdom of God.  

I remember she would get on the bus with us and she would first sit down in the front of the bus and start plugging her eyebrows there’s not one morning where she didn’t have to do her eyebrows brows I would always say she used to pluck her eyebrows until they were is none left. 

When we first moved to the neighborhood in 2012....Sydney knocked on the door to let me know my daughter had an accident on her bike. With the biggest smile on her face she said “Ma’am your daughter is in the neighbors bushes”. I was so tickled. She could make anybody smile... sweetest kid ever. She will be truly missed. We love you Sydney❤️

I first met the family when I was Volunteering as a cheer coach at a local Sherwood gym. Andy and Tammy had signed the girls up for cheer and gymnastics. As fall arrived I told them about the cheer team I was coaching for the Jr Twisters. They signed the girls up and for the next 3  seasons both girls were on my squad, Gold Twisters. Sydney was the youngest at around 3 and she was so full of spunk. She worked just as hard as the older girls did and loved being the youngest on the squad because all the older girls gave her so much attention. She learned all the cheers and dances we did over the years and when we were taking breaks at practice Katrina always had Sydney to the side helping her learn our routines. After the Twisters dissolved I did not really see Sydney in person. But I watched her gore through social media and she became such a beautiful sweet young lady. I was so proud of her and Katrina when they made the high school cheer squad. I felt like I had a small part in them loving cheer so much. Tammy,  Andy and Katrina I know words can’t take away the pain you feel. My heart goes out to each of you. Sydney was loved by so many and now she will be your guardian angel. Fly high Sydney.  You are loved and will be missed. Prayers for the family ❤️

Sydney always had a smile on her face.  Her kind personality was contagious.  She was was always a joy to be around.  She is truly an angel and will be miss.  My heart and prayers go out to her family.  

Sydney was my grand daughter, she was such a beautiful girl, her smile lit up every place she was,,,she had a crazy laugh, and always wanted to be the center of attention, when she was little she had a head full of golden curls, it really looked like gold was spun in her hair, Sydney loved life, she loved Jesus, she left such and impact on this world, she was only 15 but God let her be able to do so much in that short time, she got to travel all over, she got to see things that most of us will never see in our life time. I just thank God that he let us be the ones to have her  in our lives. Baby Sydney will never be forgotten her memory will be forever in our hearts



I was Katrina’s Girl Scout leader for several years when they were much younger. Although Sydney wasn’t in our troop, she often attended our events. She was the cutest, sweetest child and always smiling. She also had beautiful long hair that everyone wanted to touch. She was a joy. In the photo, you can see little Sydney wedged in between all the older Girl Scouts. My thoughts and prayers are for Andy, Tammy, Katrina and all those that knew and loved Sydney.

The biggest thing to remember about Sydney is her contagious, huge smile and the courageous, loving heart she had for Jesus. Every single time I walked into the room she would be sitting there, always happy, even on the worst days, laughing uncontrollably. She always wanted to get along with everyone and it’s crazy that she did. She was always a light for Jesus and that is why she never failed to talk to or smile at someone. As I have been told many times, grief is like a house with a bunch of rooms in it. One day we could be experiencing one room, the next month we could be in another room across the entire house. She has shown us that letting God be in full control in our lives makes a huge difference no matter what, as it was displayed tremendously in her life. 

My heart breaks for the family and multitude of friends who love and were loved by Sydney.   Prayers for comfort and peace to all whom were blessed to have crossed paths with this precious soul.  Fly high, Sydney, and know you touched the lives of so very many.  

The world lost such a beautiful soul when it lost Sydney . I never once seen her with out a beautiful smile on her face. It was obvious how much she loved her parents,  sister Katrina, grandparents, family, and friends.  Sydney was a very blessed young lady and blessed everyone who knew her. She was so Smart, Talented, Funny, and Beautiful! My heart is so sad that she left us , and broken for Tammy, Andy , and Katrina but we know she is in heaven smiling and having a grand ole time because she is in a perfect place now. a place we all long to be. We will see her again one day. Until then I pray for God to send comfort as only he can do for Tammy, Andy, Katrina, Grandparents, family and friends. Love you all so much. Fly high Sydney Gray! Love you beautiful!

 Andy and Tammy, yall were great parents and Sydney loved you with all her heart.  Katrina, you were a great big sister to her and I know she loved you and looked up to you. She was so blessed to have such a wonderful family.  Sydney was a mini version of you Tammy & watching her grow up I saw you so much in her.  Things you did as a kid and then seeing her do things was like "wow, this is Tammy Jr".  You all did so many things together as a family and you have so many memories to reflect on.  My hurt still hurts for all of you & our entire family for the loss of this loving, sweet, beautiful girl.  Heaven gained another angel May 5th.  Hugs to all of you.

Sydney was a close friend of mine. She was one of the first people to talk to me when I moved to Sylvan Hills in 7th grade. There are so many memories that I have with Sydney and I will cherish all of them forever.  Last year in our biology class, Sydney and I worked on an assignment that required us to look at how genes worked and flip a coin to choose at random to make a fake child. Sydney was so excited for the assignment so she took my hoodie and stuck it under her shirt to make it look like she was pregnant. Our baby turned out super ugly because all of his features were random but Sydney said that she loved him anyway.  Throughout the entire year, that was Sydney's favorite project that we worked on. It hurts to know that we lost such a sweet angel but I know that she is partying in heaven and watching over me in all that I do. We all love her and can't wait to see her again. 

Me and Sydney were never that close but she always always made me smile. She was always caring and loving, and she was an amazing person to be around. 

I am really sorry for your loss of our beautiful Sydney Gray everybody loved and cherished. We will forever remember her beautiful face and voice. I was a friend of hers and I will forever remember her life and how she always made everybody smile on the bus and how she always boosted everybody's confidence and was so nice. She might be gone visually but forever in our hearts. God gained a beautiful angel that nobody will forget.  She has a big smile on her face in the arms of the Lord. God decided it was her time to go. She will always, always be remembered as the beautiful girl who made everybody smile.
