Ted Schroepfer, 67, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away February 26, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He was the son of William and Dorothy Schroepfer, both deceased, and is survived by his wife, Teresa Schroepfer, his daughter Tori, his brother Terry (Connie) and sister Tracey, nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
Ted worked for AT&T for 44 years as a communication technician and was skilled at working with his hands. Ted could accomplish anything he put his mind to. He was excited to be retired so he could spend the days with his girls (Teresa and Tori) and travel. He loved working in the workshop alongside Teresa. One of his favorite retirement moments was sitting on the porch swing on a sunny day, listening to the birds and drinking a cup of coffee. Having a full coffee pot and ready access to his recliner always brought him joy.
Ted was an honorable man, who possessed the gift of building and maintaining relationships. He was known as a person who would do anything for anyone and who always put others first. He loved his family, the Lord, his church family, and friends. Most of all, though, he deeply loved his wife and daughter and put them first every minute of his life. He referred to them as the Mighty Three. Ted will be missed and the world a grayer place without him in it. He left a big hole in the hearts of those who loved him, a hole that will not be filled until his loved ones meet him in heaven. Ted, this is not goodbye; this is “see you later daddy” and “honey, I will see you soon.”
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
