Vance Eugene Henson Jr. was born on December 9, 1955, in Denver, Colorado and died on June 3, 2023, in Jacksonville, Arkansas where he lived for the past 40 years. Vance was an Air Force Veteran and retired from Dassault Falcon Jet in 2022. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed traveling.
He was predeceased by his parents Vance Henson and Delores Edmonson and a daughter Sherri Henson. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 44 years, Joyce; brother, David (Yvonne) Henson of Athens, Alabama; sister, Mica Welsh of Mount Airy, North Carolina; 2 nephews, 3 nieces, 11 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. both at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Wolf Cemetery in Oppelo, Arkansas
