William (Bill) Gynn Suitor, age 81, passed into his Savior’s arms on January 7, 2026, with family by his side. Bill was born to Clarence Elliott Suitor and Eula Faye (Tucker) Suitor on June 21, 1944 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marcia Gough Suitor; and his daughter, Stacey Suitor, and son, Blake Suitor (Jessica). He is also survived by his sister Suzanne and brother Stephen Suitor; grandchildren: Taylor McPherson (Michael), Madelyn and Hudson Suitor; great grandchildren: Silas, River, Jagger, and Kaida McPherson; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Kenneth and Robbie Suitor and his nephew Ryan Suitor.
After graduating high school in Prescott, Arkansas, Bill played football for the Henderson State Reddies. Bill was a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for 33 years. He retired in July 2004, and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, Razorback sporting events, and coin collecting. Bill was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather who will all miss his humor and kindness. His faith in God and his family were the most important things in his life.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
