Can't believe Allen has passed away! I just saw today that he passed in 2021. Allen, I, and  Eleanor were very good friends over the years in Birmingham and throughout school. I had a chance quite a few years ago to see him briefly in Miami. I will always miss him!

Wendy and I have known Allen and his family for more than thirty years.  Allen and I worked for Arthur Andersen & Co.  We were personal friends, as well as being close professional associates.  Allen worked in our tax department and I worked in audit.  We shared numerous clients throughout the years.  We worked together on a historic bankruptcy case that lasted for more than ten years and had a tax issue decided before the U.S. Supreme Court.  Allen was a well respected tax professional who went on to a second career in family wealth planning.
 
Wendy and I attended the marriage ceremonies for Lisa, Mindy and Jennifer.  Up until the pandemic Wendy and I would frequently meet Allen and Eleanor for dinner where we would discuss the latest events with our daughters and grandchildren.  Allen will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.  Condolences to the Fisher family.

Elly and I were greatly saddened to hear of Allen's passing.  I had the great good fortune of having Allen as a colleague and Partner at Andersen.  He was the type of person that made it an enjoyable place to work.  He was always the consummate gentleman.  Away from work, he and Eleanor were great company.  We will miss those dinners and other outings.
