Marvin Solomon Gottlieb

Marvin Solomon Gottlieb passed away on August 23, 2023 in Boca Raton, Florida. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Charlotte Sklarinsky Gottlieb, his wife of seventy years; three children, Avis (David) Sachs, Bruce (Karen) Gottlieb, and Kenneth Gottlieb; seven grandchildren; Randy (Marisa) Sachs, Jaymie (Michael) Feiner, Marni Sachs, Sari (Justin) Kaplan, Andrew (Jennifer) Gottlieb, Harrison Gottlieb, and Tyler Gottlieb, ten great-grandchildren; Kayla, Hannah and Noah Sachs, Cameron, Lily and Charli Feiner, James and Emma Kaplan, Juliet and Cali S Gottlieb; and sister-in-law Ethel (Roy) Greenfield. He was predeceased by his parents Hyman and Sadie Gottlieb, his brother David (Berniece) Gottlieb, and sisters, Lillian (Irving) London and Selma (Charles) Brown, and his sister-in-law Sandra Sklarinsky Levine.

Born September 8, 1928 in Meriden, Connecticut, Marvin was raised in Hartford. He was a born salesman with an intense desire to succeed. Charlotte and Marvin moved to Hollywood, FL in 1954 where they raised their family. As a builder of custom homes, apartments and commercial properties as Bilt-Rite Homes, Lomar Construction and Lomar Apartments, Marvin became a well-respected fixture in the community. He was a member of Temple Sinai in Hollywood, a 32° Mason and a life member of the Scottish Rite, a general contractor, and a real estate broker.

Marvin loved to tell stories and never met a stranger, making friends everywhere he went. He worked hard and was successful in business, but his true pride and joy was his family. A family man to his core he was proud of his family and all that they accomplished. He loved and adored Charlotte and had a light in his eyes at the mere mention of her.

Marvin loved to travel, play cards, and spend time with friends and family. Marvin lived a full and happy life and will always be loved and missed.
