Rita Lynn Rubio, born on August 10, 1957, in Newark, New Jersey to William Robert Heslin and Evelyn Gertrude Farenholz, passed away on December 19, 2025 at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, at the age of 68. She was a resident of Aventura, Florida.
She is survived by her husband, Gil Rubio, and her son, Gil Jose Rubio. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Mae Flora (John), and her nephews, Nicholas Flora and Eric Flora, as well as her nieces, Skylar Heslin and Kayley Heslin.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, located at 17775 North Bay Road, Sunny Isles Beach, FL, 33160, on December 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A committal will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, located at 2401 Davie Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33317, from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm on the same day.
