Very sorry to hear of Sharlane's passing. 
My Dad, Ira Kosstrin, was her father, Mike's, CPA when I was a kid growing up on Miami Beach in the '70s and I have fond memories of the family. May her memory be a blessing.

Ms. Sharlene, I will miss your beautiful smile as you enter the office.  I smile when I see your name in the schedule.  I will always remember you on our Birthday.

I am beyond devastated by the loss of our Shar. 'Sisters' in so many ways...whether it being neighbors in Bay Harbor, or NCJW sisters since perhaps 1990, or TBS board members and Sisterhood playmates together, Shar was such a meaningful part of my life, and I can't come to terms that this strong, extraordinary, and generous soul has been taken from us.

Dear Kotler Packar Family,
It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I write to you. The news of Sharlane's passing has left me and many others in a state of shock and devastation. Sharlane was an extraordinary woman who touched the lives of everyone she encountered, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
I have been privileged to call Sharlane my friend since our teenage years, and the memories we shared together are etched in my heart forever. Sharlane had a remarkable ability; she always made sure that everyone felt welcomed and cherished.
Sharlane's devotion to Kenny, Daniel and Jac was unparalleled. She was more than a loving wife to Kenny but also a pillar of strength and support for her children. Her dedication to their well-being was evident in everything she did, and her love for them knew no bounds. Her sweet Sisters and their families were her treasures. She nurtured family with an unwavering affection, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams and embrace life's adventures.
Sharlane was the kind of person who radiated kindness and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Sharlane's natural leadership qualities both professionally and personally inspired me.
Navigating through this difficult time, is painful painful painful!  Jeff and I honor Sharlane's memory and celebrate the remarkable life she lived.
To the Packar Kotler family, we offer our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies. May you find solace in your cherished memories.  Sharlane will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Sharlane will always be my teenage friend, forever young.

I first met Shar over 50 years ago at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  We were on the 7th floor of Hess Hall.  Karen Maier, Diana Thompson, Shar and I were the best of friends.  Shar was smart, funny, loved "The Long and Winding Road",  and took care of us and her family.  Everyone could always count on Shar and loved being with her.  Kenny, Daniel and Jackie, Judy, Andrienne and Rae--my heart and love go out to you.  Margaret Behm, Nashville
