Steve Issac Nelson was born May 21, 1941, to parents Jacob Nelson (Deceased) and Bertha Nelson (Deceased). He was the 3rd of three children. He was a proud resident of Coconut Grove, where he was born and raised and received most of his schooling at George Washington Carver High School.
In memoriam, we remembered him as a versatile and talented individual who wore many hats throughout life. He was a hardworking man, a father, and a man of God. In his early years, he attended Christ Episcopal Church.
He is preceded in death by Jacob Nelson Jr. (Brother), Clove McCree (Sister), Juanita Nelson (Daughter), Annie Nelson (Daughter), Sylvia Nelson (Daughter), Vandanie Nelson (Daughter), Steve Nelson Jr (Son), Charles Nelson (Son).
He leaves to mourn, his beloved wife Margaret Nelson, nine grandchildren Donae Nelson, Jerome Nelson, Arnetria Nelson, Oprah Brooks, Vanessa Nelson, Tony Harris, Tia Harris, Sylvia Nelson, and Shane Sanders. Two brothers, Gershon Warner, and Sitnah Warner. One sister AnnMichael Nelson, devoted nieces Letricia Nelson and Stephanie Nelson, caring nephew Keith Nelson, along with many other friends and family.
