

Pastor André Macius Louis
André Macius was born on March 5th, 1938 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to late Elissie Louis and Dalila Toussaint. He was the fourth child of a family of 7 children: late Abner Louis, Jean Miracle Louis, late Ermite Louis, André Macius Louis, late Gerald Louis, late Jean Elie Louis and Jean Emmanuel Louis. He completed his education at Fabre Gefrard in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. André Macius set very high standards for himself for his education. His brightness and determination guaranteed him a successful career and bright future.
In 1970, he met with Lina Aneus and the two fell in love. She blessed him with two beautiful children Lesly Louis and Nathanaelle Louis Mesadieu. On January 3rd, 1973, he found the woman of his life Marie Edith Henrisca. They got married, and five children were born of that union: Michael Louis, Marie Alberte Louis, Sherley Louis, Makenzie Louis and Carnegie Louis.
André Macius obtained a degree in mechanics, from Ford Motors in Haiti. He worked for several years as private chauffeur and special duty for the Francois Duvalier Administration as well as Ovide Simone Duvalier's Orphanage. André Macius excelled at his job and made a name for himself. He never shined away from hard work. As he was thriving on that sector, he received the call from God to serve. He resigned from his job and went to biblical school of Nazareth, with Pastor Firmain as president. He became a pastor and started to serve as such at a First Nazarene Baptist Church in Fought, La Plaine du Cul De Sac, Haiti.
As the Duvalier Administration would not accept their defeat of losing André Macius , he decided to leave his Homeland and migrated to the US in the early 1980's. He immediately fell in love with the country and the many opportunities it had to offer. He settled in the hearts of Midtown Miami Florida . At around the same time, he met with late Maude Nicolas and late Pastor Saul’s ministry . After Pastor Saul’s death, Pastor André Macius Louis transitioned to the Nicolas’s Ministry at Church of God of Bethel. He was devoted to the service of the Lord and loved his assembly. The Nicolas' was part of his "inner circle of very rare friends." Pastor André Macius was a faifthful member of Church of Bethel at 3219 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami Florida, where he served as pastor from the 1980's until the time of his death in March 2021.
Pastor André Macius had worked at Pioneer Shipping at 3250 North River Drive, in Miami FLorida since he migrated until the time of his retirement in June 2009.
Andre Macius was a family man, a proud dad of 7 children and great father and husband. He brought his family over from Haiti and continued to support his siblings and relatives incessantly until his death. He gave back to his community, preached the gospel, financially helped out a lot of people to better their lives. Andre Macius was a generous man who would forget about himself to help others. “Se pou nou viv byen youn ak lòt “ was his mission statement and belief.
Pastor André Macius went back to biblical school and graduated a second time as a pastor in the Texas Mission in Baton Rouge.
He was known to be a disciplinarian, no nonsense kind of guy, courageous, generous, loyal to a fault, a brave Knight of Christ's bataillion, a true representative of God's kingdom. He was that and many more.
Pastor André Macius started to become ill in October 2020. He was transported to Jackson Memorial hospital where he was treated. He got better and was discharged home to his family. As he got sick again, he was then transported to University of Miami Hospital where he remained for about 5 months. Then later in late February 2021, he was sent to Vitas Hospice until Monday, March 8th when he gave his last breath in front of his daughter Marie Alberte.
Pastor André Macius Louis left behind to grieve him his loving and beautiful family: his wife of 48 years Marie Edith Henrisca Louis, the mother of his children Lina Aneus; his seven children: Lesly Louis, Nathanaelle Louis Mesadieu,Michael Louis, Marie Alberte Louis, Sherley Louis, Makenzie Louis and Carnegie Louis; his two brothers: Jean Miracle Louis and Jean Emmanuel Louis; his son-in-law: Beaudouin Mesadieu; his daughter in-law: Fara Lindor Louis; his eight grandchildren: Beaudline Mesadieu, Beaudlaine Mesadieu, Tayana Mesadieu, Nathan Mesadieu, Adams Senghor Louis, Abigail Farangie Louis, Arthur Joshua Louis, Adele Louis. He also left to cherish him a tremendous amount of nephews, nieces, cousins and many wonderful friends. The Louis family deeply deplores his untimely departure.
He is preceded in death by his father Elissie Louis, his mother Dalila Toussaint, his brothers Abner Louis, Gerald Louis, Jean Elie Louis, and his sister Ermite Louis.
