AURORA AUGUSTA MARTINS, 97, a widow (Carlos Ferreira Azevedo) for 49 years, born in Aguas Santas, Porto, Portugal, and a 39-year resident of Miami, Florida, passed away at home of natural causes on February 10, 2015. Aurora is survived by her 2 sons, Alvaro Ferreira Azevedo (Teresa Pacheco) and Silvio Ferreira Azevedo; 4 grandchildren, Carlos Azevedo (Estela), Julio Azevedo (Karla), Fatima Azevedo and Bruno Azevedo (Rima); 9 great-grandchildren, Michael Azevedo (Joelle), Andrew Azevedo (Carmen), Katrina Azevedo-Pinillos (Juan Pinillos), Julio Azevedo Jr., Ricardo Azevedo, Alexander Azevedo, Ana Azevedo, Edgar Azevedo, Bruno Azevedo Jr.; 9 great-great-grandchildren; sister Odete Balasino, sister-in-law Irene Martins; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 12 from 5:00PM to 10:00PM, and funeral services will be held Friday, February 13 at Caballero Rivero Southern, 15011West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
