This service is dedicated to Mrs. Eutheria Thomas, affectionately known as “Theri”. Eutheria Thomas was born Eutheria Williams on February 8, 1929, in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Jack Williams and Massie Williams. She later relocated to Miami, Florida, with her mother and siblings, where she attended school.
In Miami, she also met the late Clemon Thomas Jr., and the two joined in holy matrimony. In this union, three children were born: Dora Davis (Roger Davis), the late Albert Thomas (the late Betty Thomas), and Raymond Thomas (Clara Thomas).
Mrs. Thomas was a beautician by design and trade, but her affectionate heart and skills led her to work as a certified nursing aid for many years. Upon retirement, Eutheria spent time with her family. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother (to the deceased Airman Alray T. Jones), a sister, and a loving friend to many. Theri was not only a hard worker. She was a Christian woman as well. She would pray, sing hymns, and praise the Lord, as she had learned to do so from her childhood. Mrs. Thomas was a worshiper of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a member of their choir during her early years. She had often visited other churches as well during her later years.
She leaves to mourn her loving daughter and son. Her cherished grandchildren are Oric Thomas, Sonya Thomas, Tangela Jones (Johnny Jones), Albert Thomas Jr., Oliver Davis, Maurine Britton (Arvon Britton), Phaedra Cofield (Arthur Cofield), Carmela Davis, Michael Thomas, Iana Thomas, and Anthony Thomas. Her sister Mae Esther Bodie, brother Nathaniel Williams, and a host of great grandchildren, Randy (Tiffany), Rochelle, Alexandria, Janelle, Nyia, Destinee, Desirea, Kia, Tyrese, Corrine, Imana, Darian, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews
Mom, Grandma, Auntie, Uma, Theri—whichever way she may have been called—was called by the Lord on September 7, 2023. She will definitely be missed, always loved, but never forgotten, and her legacy shall live on
