Fernande Yvonne Claude

Fernande Yvonne Claude was born on December 4th 1933 in AnsRouge Haiti. She was the 1st girl of 14 siblings from her parents Altagrace and Charles Exacte Brutus. She was the sister of Pierre , Paul, Andrée, Olga, Alberic , Loretta , Renée, Fritz, Marie Ange, Anita, Josette, Mona, Altagrace Armand Angelo and Gerard.

She received her primal education in Haiti. Her nurturing and need to aid others led her into the path to becoming a nurse. While working as a nurse, one of many patients she helped would turn out to be the love of her life Mr Jean Jacques Claude, whom she met while giving him a shot. They dated for briefly 3 months and got married on September 30, 1967. Their beautiful union resulted in the creation of their two children, Edda and Steven Claude.

Fernande was a god fearing woman who loved to go to church , provided home cooked meals for the family, offering shelter to those in need, and extended her mothering to other children in the neighborhood. For every place she had to go, she would always need a new dress and a hat to match but would never wear the same dress twice. She will always be remembered for her kind, nurturing, and compassionate heart.

On November 7th 2025 Fernande transitioned peacefully to be with the lord. Fernande is survived by her two sisters Loretta and Renée. Her husband Jean Jacques Claude. Her children Edda Joseph and Stevens Claude. Her grandchildren Stevens Jr(Lucky)(Marlyne), Imani , Antanisha , Luco, Saphera and Seth. Her great granddaughter Alexandria. Her nieces and nephews: Nerlande, Yolande, Jilberte , Erica ,Lyrdine, Linda , Eldridge , Jean-Moliére, Carline , Walnex, Marie Therese, Myrlene, Carole, Marie Alette , Jean Ernst , Emmanuel , Idelene, Altagracia, Joseph , Claudia, Odile, Amalita, Patrick , Fred J Alain and Guerda.

A visitation is scheduled to take place at Caballero Rivero Southern, located at 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181, on November 14, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A committal service will follow at the same venue on November 14, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
