It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Hazel May Stephens Stevens, who departed this life peacefully on June 15, 2025, at the age of 96.

Born on March 28, 1929, in Saint Ann’s, Jamaica, West Indies, Hazel lived a long and fruitful life marked by unwavering faith, resilience, and an unshakable devotion to her family. A proud Christian woman, Hazel’s life was a reflection of her deep spiritual beliefs. Her faith sustained her through life’s challenges and guided her actions, words, and relationships.

Hazel was known for her strength of character, tireless work ethic, and a heart that knew no bounds when it came to her loved ones. She was strong-willed and steadfast—never one to shy away from hard work or from speaking the truth. She faced life’s trials with courage and determination, and she did so while always putting family first.

Hazel is survived by her four beloved children, her cherished six grandchildren, her treasured ten great-grandchildren, and her precious two great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love, integrity, and faith lives on through each of them.

Hazel’s love and guidance shaped generations, and her memory will be a source of strength for all who knew her. Her warm smile, wise counsel, and loving embrace will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
