

Inez Marie Rowe was born on May 28, 1937, in Monticello, Florida, to the late Mr. Wallace Thompson and Mrs. Venezuela Barrington Thompson. She peacefully transitioned from this life on March 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family.
At an early age, Inez confessed Christ at St. Rilla Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello, Florida. After moving to Dade City, Florida, she joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully for many years. Later, she relocated to Miami, Florida, where she became a devoted member of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend D.A. Bradley. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.
Inez received her education in the public schools of Dade City, Florida, graduating from Mickens High School. She furthered her education at Miami Dade Community College in Miami, Florida.
Inez was a dedicated and hardworking woman who worked as a bank teller for many years until her retirement. She was known for her kindness, warm smile, and the love she shared with everyone she met. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished her family deeply.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her sons, Eric Rowe (Barbara) and Patrick Rowe; her daughters, Linda Harris-Williams (James), Carolyn Lowery, Rhonda Wimberly-Porter (Lester), and Debra Inez Mobley (Rhemar); her siblings, Susie Butler (Samuel Sr.) and McKinley Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Cecil Pinkney; her sisters, Theola Thompson-Mills, Bernice Thompson-Smith, and Lucille Mills; her brothers, Syke Thompson, Philmore Thompson, Bethel Thompson, J.C. Thompson, Benjamin Thompson, Wallace Jr. Thompson, Earl Thompson, and Clyde Thompson; and her god-aunt, Rebecca Hicks.
Inez Marie Rowe will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her loving heart, her strength, and her dedication to her family. Her beautiful spirit and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Southern, 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181, US, on April 17, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Mt Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 1745 NW 79th St, Miami, FL 33147, US, on April 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
