Jeannette Justilien

Born on August 13, 1956 in Port de Paix, Haiti, Jeanette Justilien was the fourth child of Mercelie Maragaret Kersaint and Dieudonné Kersaint. She was the daughter of a sales woman and a farmer. It was because of her upbringing that she became a strong, independent and hardworking woman.

As a teenager she had a passion for sewing clothes, cooking, dancing and she would love to ride her bike. As an adult the love she had for her family motive Jeannette to follow her mother’s footstep by becoming a sales woman to support and make a better living for them while she was living in Haiti.

Jeanette arrived to the United States in December of 1994 to pursuit a better life for herself and her children. With family in her mind Jeannette did not waste anytime getting into the work place to support her family and grow her selling venture in Haiti. Out of all of her jobs Jeannette found a home away from home in 2007 when she started working at Villa Maria Rehabilitation center where she was reunited with childhood friends and made new ones along the way.

Everyone’s problem was hers to solve never turning down an opportunity to make a difference she had a heart of a thousand men and it was pure as gold.

God call his angel home but her love, laughter, compassion, and strong will live through us forever.

Jeanette Justilien blessed this world with five children: Junior Lahens Charles, Haentjens Charles, Wendy Duperat, Dayana Alcime, and Vladimir Alcime; teaching them valuable lessons of life such as love, sacrifice, respect, and most importantly a profound love for God which she demonstrated by becoming a devoted parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Jeanette Justilien leaves behind, to cherish her memories, her children: Junior Lahens Charles, Haentjens Charles, Wendy Duperat, Dayana Alcime, and Vladimir Alcime; her grandchildren: Milhanda Charles, Ryan Charles, Lens Charles, Saniyah Mocomber, Lahenska Charles, Leeyon Auguste, Maddox Clermont. Her Siblings: Romain Justilien, Jules Dalger, Arnold Kersaint, Frantz Kersaint, Mercedes Joseph & Dieudonne Kersaint. Nieces and Nephews: Roseman Justilien, Marie Sony Belizaire, Merline Louis, Marline Louis, Louis Dalger, JD Dalger, Rachael Kersaint, Lucinda kersaint, Neftalie Kersaint, Geraldline Kersaint, Beverly N. Kersaint, Anthonique Ferdinand, Neethie Ferdinand, Kervens Ferdinand, Johnson Kersaint , Jada Kersaint, and Dahens Jean Jacques.
