

Lloyd Norbert Grandison was born in Glarmorgan, Tobago on September 9th, 1926 to the late Audrey Mitchell and John Grandison. After completing Grammar school, Lloyd left Tobago to live with his mother in Curacao where he learned welding and was subsequently employed in the oil fields. In his middle twenties he returned to Trinidad and Tobago from Curacao and joined the Police Force. While on the Police Force in Trinidad and Tobago, Lloyd worked as a Street Cop, a Marine Cop and a Motorcycle Cop. Lloyd migrated from Trinidad to the United States of America where he pursued a career in Security, first in New York and then in Miami, where he was the Coordinator/Supervisor of Security staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for several years. In addition, Lloyd was registered as a Notary Public for the state of Florida. He also had a passion for dentistry and pursued a course of study in dental laboratory technology, graduating in 1973. After retirement from Mount Sinai Hospital he worked as a dental laboratory technician with his longtime friend Tony Irish, until his illness.
Lloyd married the love of his life, Enez Hall in New York some four decades ago. They enjoyed a wonderful life of travelling and entertaining together.
On Sunday February 22nd 2015, Lloyd, affectionately called “Grandy” by many, passed away.

Grandchildren: Rosann Simon (Fitzroy), Richard Juba, Randy Juba (Trica), Ron Juba (Carmen), Raeann Perry (Luzon), Roneil Juba (Brittnie) and 13 Great-grandchildren:
Sisters: Enid Joshua, Linda Baptiste and a host of nieces and nephew
In laws: Hollis, Doreen. Candace, and Patsy
Cousins: Felix Caesar (Catherine), Petronella Caesar, and Joycelyn Daniel;
Many family and friends.
Lloyd was a very generous, kind, caring and compassionate individual who loved people.
He was a good husband and he loved his wife Enez dearly. He loved his family as a whole and had very close relationships with his daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and in-laws. He treated his friends as brothers and sisters. He will certainly be missed but not forgotten. May he rest in peace.
