Max F. Joseph

Max Joseph "Ti Max Bernardin" was born in February 14th, 1945 in Cap-Haïtien, Haïti. He was one of 4 children born to the late Fernande Joseph and Morel Bernardin. He attended school in Cap-haïtien, Haïti and was raised into a fine young man. In 1973 he took a Job with Norwegian Cruise Line. In 1974 he made South Florida his home; he lived in Miami for 38 years. For 34 years he resides at his current home in Miami Gardens. He worked at Henry Lee food Distributor from 1975 - 2001, were he worked his way up to a supervisory position. Before becoming ill Max was very active, his hobbies were playing soccer, boxing and bodybuilding. He enjoyed life, being with his family, having fun with friends. Max loved listening to music; he played in a band as a young man. After a courageous 11 years battle with Diabetes, Max passed away peacefully at Aventura Hospital on April 14th, 2012 at the age of 67. Max touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
