Thomas Scott was born July 8th 1980, and grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. Thomas was indeed the epitome of “happy-go-lucky”. From his exuberant jokes, to his prize- winning sparkling smile; he was indeed the life of the party. Despite any of life’s upsets, he would somehow find the positive in every situation and kept his chin up. Thomas was a loving son, brother, uncle, and father. His love for his family was unquestionable. He would do anything for them .
June 2nd, 2015 the devil was busy, but God said he was not done with him yet. Our heavenly father, gave us two and a half more years to cherish Thomas; and even through these hard times Thomas was still laughing, joking, talking, and yes…Fighting! Fighting for strength and recovery.
He fought a “good” fight, and one day I looked at him and could see he was tired. I asked my dear brother, “are you ready to go” and he told me “yes”. He was ready. I asked him, “have you accepted Christ into your heart” and he shook his head yes. In that moment, he had truly found peace. Up until the moment that he took his last breath, he was strong, resilient, and faithful. We will forever cherish those final laughs, smiles, and silent moments camaraderie.
Let us all remember, on June 2nd, 2015 it could have been over for him had it not been for God’s grace, mercy, and redemption. Our Savior gave us until December 19th, 2017 to be with him and make more memories. Most importantly to make himself right with the Lord. So, family and friends even though we may hurt now we have to remember that we will see him again. Rest In Paradise “Tommy” you will always be missed.
