Valerie’s vibrant spirit and generous heart left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Valerie grew up in Corpus Christi and San Antonio, Texas, where her infectious smile and joyful energy defined her childhood. Her adventurous spirit led her to call many places home, including Michigan, Florida, and Budapest, Hungary, each place enriched by her presence. A devoted mother, loving spouse, and cherished friend, Valerie’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and connection.
She leaves behind her beloved spouse, Bryn Kahrl, and their three adored children, William, Bryceson, and Julianna Kahrl, who were the light of her life. Valerie’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she welcomed her children’s friends into her home, treating them like her own with open arms and a warm heart. She is also survived by her mother, Illona Lopez; her sister, Victoria Ray; and her brother, David Wallace, who will forever cherish her memory.
Valerie’s passions were as vibrant as her personality. An exceptional cook, she poured love into every dish, creating meals that brought people together. Her commitment to helping others shone through in her everyday actions, whether lending a listening ear or offering a helping hand. Known for her great sense of humor, Valerie’s laughter was contagious, and her beautiful singing voice could lift any spirit. Her smile, bright and genuine, was a gift to all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Valerie’s life will be held at Caballero Rivero Southern, 15011 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami, FL 33181.
Valerie Ann Wallace Kahrl lived a life full of love, laughter, and song. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have been touched by her boundless kindness.
