Charlotte Lee Nugan, 81, passed away on March 24, 2026. A native of Nashville, Lee was a distinguished pianist and a dedicated psychological counselor who spent her career championing the well-being of children.
After graduating from Vanderbilt University and the University of Sydney, Lee spent many years in Australia raising her children, Nicole and John, before returning to the United States in 1980. For over four decades, she was a vital member of the Upledger Institute. Lee was a pioneer in her field, specializing in early childhood counseling to prevent long-term psychological challenges.
