

Age 46, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, peacefully passed into God’s care on January 14, 2013. Dawn was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and graduated from Arlington High School. She moved to Florida in 1996. She attended MedVance Institute and received a certification in Medical Billing and Coding. She worked at Comprehensive Pain Management as a scheduling specialist. Dawn was an avid exercise enthusiast who enjoyed working out at her gym, rollerblading, playing softball, and taking walks with her father and dog Huney.
Dawn is survived by her parents Richard and Evelyn Kocot; sister, Elizabeth (Richard) Ruyack; nephews, Raymond, Christopher Ruyack; niece Rebecca Ruyack; aunts, Mary Doyle, Lil Kristensen, and Dorothy Evangelista; uncle John Evangelista; and many cousins. Her grandparents, Chester and Bernice Kocot, Raymond and Katherine Evangelista; and an uncle Raymond Evangelista predeceased her.
Thanks to all of her many friends and family who supported and loved her throughout her life and illness. Dawn was a caring, loving and courageous woman whom her family and friends will truly miss.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the following organizations: Hospice of Palm Beach Gardens, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or the American Cancer Society.
Friends may visit the family at the Howard Price Funeral Home, 754 US Hwy 1, North Palm Beach, FL, on Sunday, January 20, 2012 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. A Mass of the Ressurection will be held at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Rd., North Palm Beach, FL., on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00am.
