Gus served his country in the Army in France and Germany during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star. He later became an Accountant with Goodyear International in Akron, Ohio for 34 years, retiring to Florida in 1985.
Gus is survived by the love of his life, Catherine, and their 3 children and spouses, Thea & George Chalikis, Stephanie & Rick Ford and Paul Constantine, and 4 grandchildren, Kathryne Chalikis, twins Nikolas and Katie Constantine, and Megan Ford.
Services for Gus will be held at St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 110 Southern Blvd, WPB at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The family will receive mourners and guests at the church preceding the service at 10 a.m. Internment will be at Riverside Memorial Park in Jupiter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Palm Beaches and St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church.
