GG (as our kids liked to call you),
You were an amazing woman, full of strength and determination.  I so enjoyed listening to the stories you told me about your life.  A life that was obviously filled with love and adventure.  We will miss you greatly!!  We love you.

Dear Jean, You were a wonderful person---wonderful and FUNNY!  Your hilarious sense of humor brightened everyone's day.  I cherished your advice, of course sprinkled with humor: everything from mother-in-law advice to motherhood advice:  Me: "Jean I'm beginning to think everyone lies about motherhood."  Jean:  "Of course they lie!  Do you think anyone would ever get born if they told the truth?!"  Twenty-eight years ago and it's still my favorite line!  Wisely, you told me to cherish the motherhood days---good or bad---because "the first 6 years drag by, but from then on, it flies!"  So true!  I feel so lucky to have had you in my life.  I will miss you forever, but I am so uplifted every time I think of you.  Thank you so much for all the joy.  I am glad you are at peace.

Jean I already miss you so very much. All the great times and family events we spent together were  made so much fun and better by you being there with us,you were always the light and life of the party. I know your light will continue to shine into eternity as will the memories I have of you be forever in my heart.  May you now rest in peace Love you always....
