He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha. He taught math for 40 years in the Palm Beach County School System, staying active in CTA retired.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline, daughter, Candace, son, John David (Patrina), granddaughter, Destiny, brother, Walter of Pittsburgh, PA., sister, Winona T. Allen of Daytona Beach, brother-in-law, Elmo Gooding of Dayton Beach, mother-in-law, Lucille Watford of Dothan, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The family will receive friends at Howard-Price Funeral Home on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A Graveside Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave., W.P.B., FL 33405
