Passed away in North Palm Beach, Florida at the age of 78. She was born to Spencer and Marjorie Laird on January 25, 1942 in Logansport, Indiana where she resided until the family moved to Kokomo, Indiana while she was in her teens. She has resided in Palm Beach County since 1984 where she taught school until her retirement.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stephen and her loving husband William (Bill) Sutherin. Linda is survived by her cherished children; her son Thomas Wood (Lisa), daughter Sheila DeHaven (Ben), son William (Nick) Sutherin and step daughter Cindy Molin (Stuart). Also surviving are the most wonderful grandchildren in the world; Mallory, Taylor, Sydney, Garrett, Alexa, Howie, Liam, Rachel, Kevin, Michelle, and James. She also leaves her only sister, Nancy Hollingsworth, 6 nieces, a nephew, 13 grand nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Maureen Laird and a host of special friends that she truly loved.
