Margaret A. Faber, age 96, of Palm Beach Shores, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026. The eldest of three siblings, Margaret lived a long, full, and meaningful life one defined by devotion to family, quiet strength, and an enduring sense of joy.
Born in Manhattan, New York, Margaret was raised in Bergenfield, New Jersey, where she built her early life and career. She worked as a dedicated bookkeeper for Northeast Container, earning the respect of colleagues through her reliability and sharp mind.
More than 45 years ago, Margaret followed her heart to Palm Beach Shores on Singer Island a place she instantly fell in love with and proudly called home for the rest of her life. There, she embraced her golden years surrounded by sunshine, ocean breezes, and the simple pleasures she cherished most.
Margaret was truly one of a kind. She had a natural way of looking out for everyone in her family, always putting others before herself. Her warmth, laughter, and gift for storytelling brought people together and left lasting impressions on all who knew her. She lived life fully, with grace and quiet resilience, and even in her later years, remained a steady and loving presence.
She is survived by her three children: Louis Faber and his wife Ann of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Susan Kneis and her husband Michael Kneis of Brielle, New Jersey; and Stephen Faber and his wife Angelica of Riviera Beach, Florida. She is also survived by nine loving grandchildren, twelve cherished great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy in her life.
Margaret outlived many dear friends, but her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the memories she created with them.
We will forever miss the laughter, wisdom, and stories she shared so generously.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Invitations will be sent to family and friends.
Her final resting place will be at Arlington National Cemetery alongside her beloved husband; date and time to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Margaret’s memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County – Hospice by the Sea (Trustbridge): https://trustbridge.com/give/
