

Patrick (Pasquallo, Patsy, Pat, Grandpa) Barone (MR B) of North Palm Beach who was born and raised in Neptune, NJ in 1924 passed away July 13th at the young age of 93 leaving behind a life that was full of memories and love of life and family. A proud veteran (hero) and Purple Heart recipient of WW2 who had a secret wish, to be the last WW2 veteran; “Missed by that much.” MR B is survived by his wife Louise (DeGironimo) of 71 years of marriage. Patrick and Louise owned and operated Love Lane Bridal in Red Bank, NJ for 50 years before retiring to North Palm Beach, 30 years ago. Pat dedicated his time for the next 25 years volunteering his services for the motor-aid at Jupiter Medical Center.
Also continuing to live his memories are his Sons John Barone (wife Kathleen Schwerd) of Sunriver OR, Peter Barone (wife Jennifer Cartledge) of Marlborough, CT, and his first born child Patricia Spontak of Lake Park, FL; all raised in Neptune and Shrewsbury, NJ. Altogether 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who will continue to remember grandpa and live their life with respect and devotion.
Other survivors are his sister Mary Marchese of Neptune, NJ, Jenny Montedora of Tamarack, FL and multiple friends here and where he is going. Pat will now join his parents and brothers; Joe, Ben, and Tony as well as continue to care for his in-laws, Peter and Phyllis DeGironimo in the next life.
The North Palm Beach Golf Course and Moose club’s pool table will miss Pat but never forget his smile.
In the months coming Patrick “Patsy” will have his ashes buried at Arlington Cemetery with full Military honors. There will be no other formal services at the request of Pat and Louise.
