Patricia Hand, a woman of warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on July 29, 1936 in Lipscomb, Alabama she lived a life filled with love, adventure, and a deep connection to the world around her.
Our Mamaw was an engaging storyteller, she made those around her feel comfortable with her light hearted stories. Her accepting and loving nature made everyone feel at home in her presence, while her wit brought joy to every gathering. Whether sharing stories over a fresh brew of sweet tea, walking by the lake, or simply listening, she made moments meaningful.
She is survived by her four grandchildren, and three great-grand children. A private service will be held to celebrate her life, with details to be shared with family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Patricia’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
