

Patrick Nick Casale (November 18,1931-March 25, 2011), resident of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, concluded his earthly journey, passing away peacefully at his home. He was one of eight children born to the late Giuseppa Perrotta and Michaelangelo Patrick Casale in Poughkeepsie New York. (Both immigrated to the US from Cervinara, Avellina, Italy).
Pat’s journey was colorful and his life full. He served his country in the Navy & Air Force, rising to the rank of Sergeant during the Korean War. He was recipient of the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Korean Service Medal. He was an Eagle Scout and Scout Master in the Boy Scouts Of America. Upon returning stateside, he enjoyed a long, successful career with, and subsequently retired from IBM. Pat married Viola Lane(1960) in Pougkeepsie NY, and was a devoted husband and father.
After the loss of his beloved Viola, with much of his life still ahead of him, Pat persevered, traveled, spent time with his family and fell in love again, becoming the beloved husband of Billie Nadolny with whom he shared his life until his passing, in West Palm Beach Fl.
Pat will forever be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, an infectious smile, and warmth. Pat will always be in the heart’s of his loving siblings Frances, Marie, Jessie, Lucy, John, Fannie and Jennie, beloved sons, Guy Riedinger, Michael Casale and William Casale, treasured daughter in-law Denise, Wife Billie, Billie’s children, Tim Bussell, Janet Bussell-Eriksson and husband Dan Eriksson, and Janene Bussell, adoring grandchildren Kyle Riedinger, Fallon Scianna, Matthew Braswell, Bryan and Austin Casale, caring brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Pat loved sharing a joke, gardening, bargain hunting, cooking, being with his family, and having fun with friends.
Pat touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor throughout his life.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Howard-Price Funeral Home from 6:00pm with a funeral service starting at 7:30pm. Interment will take place at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina 27612 on April 16, 2011, at 3pm.
