

The family moved from Indiana to Florida when she was young and she attended Dade County public schools, graduating from Edison High School in 1961. She went on to attend the Florida State University where she would meet her husband and earn a bachelor's degree in business in 1965. She and Dennis Isenhower were married on June 10, 1967, in Miami. They moved to North Palm Beach where she and Denny lived for their entire 56-year marriage.
They have two sons, Daryl Isenhower (Amy) of Port St. Lucie and Gary Isenhower (Jill) of Birmingham, AL.
Sharon worked many years in local offices, but her true calling was as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She volunteered with the Boy Scouts. She was a team mother, worked concessions and kept the scorebook at little league games. She volunteered with Palm Beach Gardens High School Athletics and was PTO president there. She was an enthusiastic supporter of her children's and grandchildren's many sporting events. She served as a poll worker for many election days. She was known by her friends and family for baking cookies and other delights.
She is survived by her husband Dennis; her sons, Daryl and Gary; her grandchildren, Madeline, Alan and Owen Isenhower of Birmingham, AL and Ruby Isenhower of Port St. Lucie; her sisters, Mary Boggs (Drew) of Indianapolis, IN and Carolyn Coleman (Stephen) of Tallahassee; sister-in-law, Nancy Bell of Tallahassee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, James Bell and Robert Bell.
Sharon never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. Her husband Dennis says she was the nicest person he ever met.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11AM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 754 Us Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. A funeral service was held in the funeral home at 12PM, followed by a reception.
