He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kim Frohling; daughter Robyn (James) Pizzichiello; son Nicholas Frohling; twin grandsons James and Anthony; brother Michael Frohling; sister Linda Beaudoin; as well as many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, uncles, and extended family. He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Ann (Boots) Frohling; father, Robert Frohling; and sister, Mary Jo Tooley.
Tim had lived in Florida for over 46 years. He met Kim in 1982, and they were married in 1984. They started their family in 1987 with the birth of their daughter, Robyn Lyn Frohling, and in 1991 with the birth of their son, Nicholas Andrew Frohling. In 2020, he had the honor of walking Robyn down the aisle to marry her best friend, James Pizzichiello. Soon after, in 2021, Tim’s favorite little people arrived—his twin grandsons, James Daniel and Anthony Miller.
Over the years, Tim loved to travel. He visited Alaska, Canada, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica, but his favorite destination was Caye Caulker, Belize, the trip he took with Nicholas. He had been planning a return visit with Nicholas to reconnect with the friends he made and stayed in touch with.
A few years ago, Tim became an Uber/Lyft driver—a job he truly loved. He was a man who never met a stranger. Always smiling, always joking, he loved to entertain with his many accents. If you were one of his passengers from another country, chances are he tried to speak your language—or at least give you his best version of your accent. His driving stories were the highlight of many Sunday family dinners.
Tim’s smile and sense of humor lit up every room he walked into. His infectious laugh often brought others to tears. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tim touched countless lives, and we are only just now beginning to understand just how many people he impacted.
Though not right away to allow time for traveling family and friends to plan, we will be celebrating Tim’s life in the way he would have wanted: with laughter, stories, and love while sporting your best “Tim Attire,” Hawaiian/Floral and Khakis.
All are welcome to come from near and far to raise a glass in honor of Tim.
