Mr. James Stewart Williamson

Son of Evelyn Tomlinson and the late Archibald Stewart Williamson. Beloved spouse of Sandra. Father of Jesse (Monique) and Ryan. Grandfather to Jack. Brother of Sally Brownell and Wendy Williamson. He will also be missed by stepson Marcus, nieces Susan and Christine Mehain and Wendy Cholewinsky, nephews Drew Mehain and Timothy Brownell and former spouse Daniella Williamson.

James was born in Hamilton, Ontario and grew up in Dundas, Ontario. After completing college in Ontario he moved to British Columbia, where he finished a degree in accounting. He spent the greatest part of his career working for B C Hydro. This past year James became the owner of his dream boat. He spent many happy hours with his boys and grandson on the water, as well as with his and Sandra’s puppy, Dede.

The family would like to thank the staff of Vancouver General Hospital, especially the staff of ICU, the GI team, 10th floor and the Laboratory for their valiant efforts.

The family would ask that in lieu of flowers and for those who are able, please donate blood, as a tribute to those many donors who freely gave their gift to help James. Financial donations to Canadian Blood Services would also be gratefully appreciated.

Service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 18th at Boal Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 1505 Lillooet Dr., North Vancouver.
