Happy birthday, Dad. I can’t find the words to say how much I miss you. I love you so much Dad. I always remember you getting into this filthy paint suit and going to mom‘s work to embarrass her. She absolutely loved it and singing with the society of seven, nothing like it in the world, I wish I had been there to see that one. I know you’re sitting on the beach in Hawaii reading a book love you.

This was right after mum said let’s go to universal studios and you and gran couldn’t figure why we had to drive your hotel was right beside it, then mum drove around a bit and pulled up to the studio gates, said her name and drove you and gran right in, I am sure there are hundreds of tourists all over the world with pictures you waving at them as you inspected the Fast and Furious cars or walking around the old west town. Wish we could go grab a crapachino and you could fly down and help me with mum again. We love and miss you so much ❤️

After we retired Ian and I worked in the movie business as background actors. We had many good times together on different sets. He was always up for the part and very enthusiastic about what he did. I have some photos of Ian and I and will always treasure them. I send my deepest sympathy to his wife, family and friends.

Ian was my brother-in-law, or just my big brother, so many happy memories, especially from teenage years going to Vancouver from Scotland and both june and Ian giving us the best holidays ever, so exciting! Ian had the biggest laugh, the biggest smile and the biggest heart, he loved his family so much, he will be missed everyday. Love to everyone xxx

Childhood cousins in Scotland, close in age, as adults, we met up only once in nearly sixty years; but Ian was family, and I feel the loss. My condolences to all relatives in British Columbia and beyond, from Stockport, England.
