Dear Karen, John, Robin and Annie,

Sending caring thoughts to you all on this first anniversary.   It might be fitting to pull out the old guitar and resurrect, in my mind/heart's mind, the very memorable "singsong" gatherings at your Calgary residence, where I first met your wonderful mom, Peggy.  She exuded such warmth and genuine interest in everyone and joined in the singing with great enthusiasm!  She always was so welcoming whenever we visited before I moved away to Toronto for grad school. 
Peggy, and all of you,  are remembered very fondly at this time.       Warmly, Peg Hofmann




I enjoyed spending some time with Peg in the days when she was travelling to Toronto. However, because air travel is difficult for me now, I will not be at the memorial, but send my condolences to all of the family.

Dearest Maggie,
Even from as far away as France and even though we saw you so little in the past years, your lovely presence will be missed by us.

Fond memories of summer in the Georgian Bay... "en famille" with Maggie/Peg, sitting on the rocks, drinks in hand, watching the sunsets.
Henri & I will miss her presence in our extended family.
