Marilyn Parliament

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Parliament, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 17, 2026.

Born in Trail, British Columbia, Marilyn lived a life rooted in family, strength, and love. She was funny, smart, strong, and passionate- qualities that shaped not only her life but the lives of everyone around her.

Marilyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and family matriarch whose presence brought comfort and connection to those who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her children, Karen (Ron) and Rick (Tracey); her loving partner of 20 years, Joe Haberbichler; and her extended family, including her cherished grandchildren, Lara, Amanda, Dave, John, Wille , Peter and her 13 great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy.

Whether through laughter, conversation, or simply being there when it mattered most, Marilyn created a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

The family finds comfort in knowing that her passing was peaceful and gentle.

A Celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held on Monday, April 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at

First Memorial Funeral Services, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, B.C.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to honour Marilyn by spending time with loved ones and holding close the people who matter most.

She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
