BUHL – Alton Thomas Burroughs, age 67, of Buhl, Ala., died March 22, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at Pate Cemetery with David Kelley officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Archie Burroughs; mother, Vanema Moore Burroughs; sisters, Mavis Faye Burroughs and Delores Nadine Wallace; and brothers, Archie Reedis Burroughs, Rayburn Leon Burroughs, Glen Everett Burroughs and Anthony "Tony" Burroughs.
Survivors include his wife, Devra Burroughs; son, Thomas "Tommy" Burroughs (Christy); and sisters, Savannah Carol Comerford and Joanne Malone (Joe).
Pallbearers will be Warren Chandler, Jeff Chandler, Andrew Chandler, Nick Chandler and Richard Burroughs.
Honorary pallbearer is Michael Jones.
