NORTHPORT | Bennie Watson Phillips, age 92, of Northport, died December 6, 2014, at home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Henry and Lucy Watson; brothers, Aaron, Ollie, Argie, and Willie C.; and sisters, Ora Lee Herring, Vaudie Oswalt and Gertie Boswell.
Survivors include her sisters, Vista Montgomery and Billie Faye Freeman; brothers, Raymond Watson, and Wyman Watson (Judy); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are Faye Phillips, Vida Le Skelton, friends and neighbors of Mount Olive and Phillips Chapel communities.
