Mrs. Beverly Idell Darling Dillingham

Beverly I. Dillingham, age 76, of Northport, died Feb. 21, 2010, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rob Lambert and Bro. Albert Lyles officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton (Jay) Dillingham; her son, David A. Dillingham; her sister, Marilyn Darling Barsham; her brothers, Joseph L. and Lester Darling; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orson L. Darling.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie L. Fields of Northport; her sons, Ronnie L. Dillingham of Endwell, N.Y., Thomas E. Dillingham (Alana) of Endicott, N.Y., and Daniel J. Dillingham of Tuscaloosa; her sisters, Jessie Bishop and Dorothy Kinne (Nathan); her brother, Herbert Darling (Elsie); and her grandchildren, Jason and Joel Dillingham.

Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and friend who was well-loved and will be well-missed.

Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Hospice of West Alabama; home care givers Barbara Kirkland, Sadie Bush, Jill Stokley, and Brenda Smith; Donna Wilson; and neighbors of Brookside Drive.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Indian Lake Baptist Church or Hospice of West Alabama.
