Cody Wade Skelton, age 27, of Coker, died Oct. 21, 2012, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ken Andrews, Bro. Michael Felton, and Rev. Jimmy Channell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Skelton, and his brother, Hunter Skelton.
Survivors include his brothers, Corey Skelton and Cooper Skelton; his mother and stepfather, Wanda and Ronnie Hughes; his grandparents, Don and Betty Higgins and Virgil and Bettie Moses; his stepmother, Holly Rosen; his ex-wife, Kira Skelton; special friend, Tara Howard; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Trent Skelton, Terry Bryant, Drake Moses, Justin Mullins, Chad Smith, and Brad Jones.
Honorary pallbearers are Adam Bass, Michael Edgeworth, Tyler Turner, Charles Brown, employees and artists at Whiz Ink, and all of Cody's many, many friends.
