Debbie was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. She was loved by all who knew her. For the past three years, Debbie devoted herself to caring for her mother. Despite facing her own health challenges, she remained selfless and determined to care for her family, a true reflection of her strength and loving nature.
She was preceded in death by her father, Flavious J. Harris, and her brother, Jerry Ray Harris.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Bessie Mae Harris; her son, Jayson (DeDe) Latham; her daughter, Scheree (Jeremy) McDonald; her brother, Phillip (Sandra) Harris; and her sister, Derendell (Robert) Turner. She was a proud grandmother to Logan Jones, Skyler Tucker, Jay (Riley) Latham, Harley (Preston) Harderson, Peyton Lowe, Haylee (Kyle) Owens, Anna (Jesse) Johnson, and Olivia Skelton, and a loving great-grandmother to Cooper, Brilyn, Colton, Jaylee, Ava Jayne, Riggs, Zoey, and Bryson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a special friend, Ashley Estes.
Debbie’s life was a reflection of love, service, and faith. Though she is no longer with us in body, her gentle spirit, kindness, and devotion to family will live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A private service for Debbie will be held at a later date.
