Coker- Dennis Martin Austin, 71, 11449 Memphis Drive died February 28th, 2021 at Druid City Hospital. Services will be held Sunday March 7th, 2021 at 2:00 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Tim McCool officiating.
Dennis is survived by his daughters Andrea Austin Barry (Luke) of Northport and Kristina Kleine Smith (Brandon) of Berry, Grandsons Connor and Mason Smith, and sisters Mona Grammer (Ronny) and Pamela Austin both of Northport.
Dennis was born January 18th, 1950 in Marion County Alabama. He served in the U.S. Navy and Army Reserves. He retired from the Army reserves. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. After retiring he enjoyed spending his time with his two grandsons and his friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his wife Linda Austin, mother Lula Virginia Austin, and father Millard Wilford Austin.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center.
