

He is proceeded in death by the love of his life and beautiful wife Patty Colbert and his parents Oscar and Helen Colbert, inlaws Curtis and Madalene Cunningham.
He is survived by his children Kristi Tullos, Chris Colbert (Shannon), Jennifer Charles (Eric), Heather Perry (Ross) and his grandchildren Kip, Natalie,Tyler, Emily and Jett Harvel, Kaytie, Samuel Colbert, Harrison (Katie), Landon (Brittany) Charles, Lacey Colbert Gunn (Zach), Sarah Beth, Remi and Jep Perry and great grandchildren Layla Evelyn and Adalynn Grace Gunn.
Indian was born June 9, 1952 in Atmore Alabama. He graduated from Escambia County High school and was a tribal member of the Poarch Creek indians. He moved to Tuscaloosa Alabama and worked at Olympia Mills where he met the love of his life of many years and married.
He was employed at Tuscaloosa Steel for many years. He was known as one of the the best Pipe Fitters where he got his nickname Indian and was recognized by always carrying a Pepsi and a pack of Kools. His motto was " Walk fast and look worried" this was his advice to all his kids and grandkids when starting a new job to be successful. He was a loving Husband, Daddy and Pawpaw.
He loved spending time with his family and watching them laugh and have a good time. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and was looking forward to watching his great grandchildren grow up.
He went home to be with his bride 5 days after what would of been their wedding anniversary on Valentine’s day. He will truly be missed by family and friends.
